Although my dermatologist talked with me about Roaccutane, and gave me many leaflets about it, we decided that we wouldn’t go down that route quite yet.
So, I was prescribed tetralysal and isotrex – a gel form of roaccutane, generally less effective, but with much fewer side effects.
If you’ve read my earlier posts, you would know that I had tried tetralysal once before and didn’t manage to swallow the capsules. So, I was quite apprehensive that the dermatologist was relying on this again…but I was also determined to succeed!
After a few more failures, I managed, miraculously, to swallow a capsule. Since then, I’ve not had a problem with any pill – something which has made being ill a lot less stressful.
